Chelsea In ‘Advanced Talks’ For Serie A Double deal As Part Of £176m Maurizio Sarri Revamp

Former Napoli boss Maurizio Sarri is set to be appointed as Chelsea’s new manager in the next 24 hours and Stamford Bridge bosses are eager to crack on after a slow start to the summer transfer window.

Reports in Italy suggest Sarri is planning to use his contacts to raid Serie A for new signings.

And, according to Corriere dello Sport, Chelsea are set to hand the 59-year-old up to £176m (€200m) to strengthen the squad he will inherit from Antonio Conte.

The Italian publication claims deals are already being worked on for Roma star Manolas and Rugani from Juventus.

Manolas, 27, is available for around £31.7m (€36m) due to a release clause in his contract.

It was previously reported Chelsea willing to hand the Greece international a deal worth £4.4m (€5m) per season.
