His no. 8 shirt hangs loosely in the locker room, tucked in a corner, in need of the right man to wear it.
World Cup winner Paul Pogba wants the shirt and is thrilled about taking Iniesta’s role at the Nou Camp.
Reports bandying about are saying the the French midfielder is brimming with excitement over a possible move to join the Catalans.
According to Calcio Mercato via MEN Barcelona are interested in adding another candidate at the centre of the park and Manchester United’s Paul Pogba has joined the fray.
Barcelona want the Frenchman following Iniesta departure to the Japanese A-League after his magical performance at the World Cup in Russia for Les Bleus.
The Frenchman had a short stretch of misunderstanding with Portuguese chief Jose Mourinho and was rumoured with an exit from the Manchester club.
However, all that strife appears to have watered down at the moment and it looks very unlikely that Paul Pogba will be leaving the Theatre of Dreams.
We don’t see Paul Pogba leaving United soon, not with the short time left on the window and the plaudits he won from boss Jose Mourinho, during and after the 2018 World Cup.
