Shock reports have claimed Chelsea are looking to replace Antonio Conte next season with former Paris Saint-Germain Coach Laurent Blanc, as the Blues have reportedly approached the Frenchman.
Conte confessed recently his future at Stamford Bridge was in doubt after seeing his side fall out the chase for a Champions League spot and lose their Premier League crown to Manchester City.
And with the Italian all set for a summer exit, there has been talk the likes of Juventus boss Max Allegri and former Borussia Dortmund coach Thomas Tuchel could make the move to the Premier League.
However, according to France football, former M=United defender Blanc could be heading to Stamford Bridge.
The 52-year-old had only three years at the helm of Girondins de Bordeaux before he was given the France job from 2010 to 2012.
He then went on to have three successful spells at PSG from 2013 to 2016, before being let go as the French giants looked to head in a different direction.
And reports have claimed owner Roman Abramovic has already approached the Frenchman about replacing Conte.
Blanc is still getting the compensation package owed to him by PSG for terminating a contract that ran until June 2018, and would be a much cheaper option than top target Allegri.
However, the Frenchman is also attracting interest from a number of other top European sides and Chelsea will find it very difficult to persuade him his long-term future is in London.
