Term Agreed £139,000-A-Week Up For Chelsea Medical As Morata Replacement

Premier League giants Chelsea have reportedly been marked Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski as their prime target before tne window shuts down in exactly three days from today. Chelsea’s new boss Maurizio Sarri has expressed huge desire in singing the Poland international as report claims the Italian gaffer is not entirely satisfied with the current options in hand.

As reported by the Daily Star, the Blues are keen on siging the striker as the leading target to help strenghten the frontline despite earlier report linking the PL clubwith Juventus’ Gonzalo Higuain.

Higuain has been touted for a reunion with Sarri over part few weeks but Chelsea could not secure his signing before he ends up joining AC Milan on a season long-loan deal.

Lewandowski, on the other hand, has been an outstanding performer for Bayern since his move on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund four years ago. In all his outings for Bayern, the Polish striker has netted 40 goals.

Nevertheless, the £139,000-a-week ace has presented doubts regarding his future after appointing super-agent Pini Zahavi as his new representative but Bayern, for now, are understood to have no plans of parting ways with the marksman.

Alvaro Morata, Olivier Giroud and Michy Batshuayi are presently the senior centre-forward options available to the Blues but they could be at least one exit to facilitate the recruitment of a new frontman to lead the line.
